These Pancakes Are Tiny

About four months ago, I got an overwhelming urge to make another animation. But instead of toiling away for days trying to write a superb script and craft the perfect plot, I sat down at my computer, opened up Word and started writing the first things that came to mind. After about a half hour of free writing, I had finished my script which entailed two brothers, a plate of pancakes and a whole lot of dirty words. I recorded and mixed all of the audio in the same day and was working on the animation by the next.

I put a whole lot of love (and hours) into this thing and it's the first animation I've done where I truly feel like it's my own. I hope you like it.

This is like a young adult version of a Seinfeld episode to me. It's really a video about nothing, but it's just such a natural type conversation.

Seriously, the flow, animation, pacing... It really worked out very well. It never jumped out at you and said "OH MY GOD, WATCH THIS KIDS". It was just interesting of its own rite.

Congrats on making something funny that wasn't trying to force it down your throat.

Somebody needs to go to like freaking Denny's or something, and do a live-action version of this. Then pitch it to NBC as a new fall sitcom. I'd watch the hell out of this if it were a TV show.

Its amazing how much i can relate to this.This is so good! Definitely needs to be made into a pilot, maybe for adult swim or something. Keep the animation style aswell, its got a lot of charm on top of these...tiny pancakes.

You should watch The Austin Stories. It's a short lived show that was on MTV in the late 90's basically like this about a group of young, 20 something Generation Y slackers who do absolutely nothing in every episode.
