Why it jitters is when your tx is off and you have the battery is plugged in to the airplane , the rx has no tx to controle its actions, It could also could activate the motor. So with this in mind , ALLWAYS HAVE YOUR TX ON AND THE THROTTLE STICK DOWN BEFORE YOU PLUG THE BATTERY IN OR UNPLUGGING IT TO OR FROM THE PLANE.

spektrum dx6i or Dx5 if you can afford it make sure to buy the new dsxm it code hops all over the 2.4ghz band have used this radio for months never a jitter or lock out EVER
