@mcs1hr It's easy enough, i'd only ever done snowdon before doing the yorkshire 3 peaks earlier in the year. did it in 9 hours, relatively ok fitness level. tricky bit's: don't get lost in the bogs after penyghent (as i did, adding a mile to my walk) and the steep face of ingleborough kills your quads. the last walk to horton can be a bit disheartening as it's a lot longer than the signs will make you believe. But it's easy enough. Just have fun, and take some lunch and a good bit of water.
I really enjoyed this walk last year with nine others. It doesn't feel like 24ish miles. We did it in 13 hours because we wasted too much time at break stops - but hey, why rush - enjoy yourself!
I'm a radio ham and we often operate our amateur radio equipment from the Three Peaks and other hill-tops. It's great for VHF radio. We compete with each other and collect contacts from high-spots all over the UK. It's called Summits On The Air - SOTA. See attached video.

I'm doing the Yorks three peaks in a few weeks and I'm looking for some advice.
I've done the British three peaks challenge and the Irish one - I just wonder how the Yorks 3 peaks compares?
Are there any tricky bits?
I was OK on the British and Irish challenges - I just wonder whether the Yorks one is tougher?
Our route is anti-clockwise from Horton.
Thanks
