Been there over a 1000 times.....did 40 shows in 1 year alone....like 20 of those front row....nothing better then yelling out requests and them playing them for you...of course the parking lot scene was always a fav too lol especially the young ladies lol

I guess my claim to Dead fame would be 2nd row in 1977 in Detroit The first tune was "Might As Well". The 2 sets included The Other One & Truckin. The place became a literal Dead madhouse when Truckin morphed into "Around and Around". The end was a great encore of U.S. Blues.Add into the situation some Hawaiian, some acid, some hash and my brother next to me the whole night screaming "We're dead, we're dead!", it was one of those nights you would never forget.
