I found one a few days ago. It was about 2 feet long. I read that the babies are only 12 inches when hatched. So this one must have been young. I had no idea they could grow to 8 ft long.

I think I found a baby one in my back yard. I don't know what kind is it but I think it might be a black rat snake. It's only about 5 inches long if that. I don't know what to do with it. I have it in a small can in the back yard.
