Denied food, water, heat, humidity, and air, frogs at USGE were housed inside 2-liter plastic soda bottles sometimes for weeks, until they were sold or they died. On the day of the seizure, PETA's team of experts found land frogs confined to the same dry troughs as aquatic frogs; emaciated, dehydrated, discolored, dying, and dead frogs and toads; toads with prolapsed rectums; and toads whose faces were rubbed raw and bloody as a result of their repeated attempts to escape the crowded enclosures that they were being kept in. Not a big fan of frogs and toads but this is wrong. Its one thing to kill one quick and clean but this is wrong.

I would never buy a frog from a pet store. I actually have a grey tree frog I found while walking home from the Liquor Mart, it was September and she was sitting on a brick wall near a busy street, so I took her home. She is doing wonderful she is very healthy loves crickets and she has learned to take from my hands, she is also very tame and will sit on my finger for long periods of time. She is so cute =3
