Tutorial 2 - Session View

In this tutorial we will cover in more detail, the ins and outs of Ableton's session view.

Over the next 13 videos we will taking you through the key areas of Ableton Live's Entry level software Intro.

First up we will be taking a look at the main features of the software from its user interface to the differences between the Session & Arrangement views.

We will then show you how to create a drum beat using the Impulse Drum machine,
create a baseline and some synth stabs using the built in Sampler and to finish up add some simple effects, do a quick arrangement and export your song to make it ready to burn onto CD.

how do you just launch one clip individually, or stop an individual clip of a track from playing? Whenever i press just one clip it launches all the clips in that scene if they have already been played previously, and when i go to switch one off my pressing the green arrow, it just flashed and continues to play

@zmallic A million times better, I was on FL for 6 years. So much more creative possibilities with ableton. And I managed to learn it in under a week! I love it.

i dont have that little blue circle too hear the instument samples , so i cant hear what they doo , how do i get it ? XD

I can not preview samples in the browser window now matter what the volume is on the preview/que volume and my headphones button is blue on the bottom of the sample window. Is there something I am doing wrong? thanks.
