The Book of the Law was meant to be read in one sitting without analysis just open your mind to it dont think about it just hear the words echoing as thunder ... its message will make itself clear on an individual basis...reading it in woods is best...The Law is for All is an important book, few actually read it

@Wolvve Good. It would be much worse if you had thought to understand it the first time around. The Book of the Law is indeed very dense and deeply metaphorical. For a simpler explanation of the philosophy of Thelema you should try the liber '"Duty," Liber CI and Liber II.

I have tried to read The Book of Law but find my self lost amongst a plethora of dazzling poetry, is there a companion guide or resource that i could use to understand all the verses that make up the book? I am interesting in looking to Thelema for Discipline of the Mind. Any recommendations?

OK why dont you guys debunk all of the "propaganda" (lol) that I seem to be spewing...please enlighten me with facts from HIS own writings....be sure to include page numbers because I want to read this shit myself

Just thought it was worth pointing out that Aleister Crowley is a Saint. He is actually listed twice in the Saints of The Gnostic Mass, as both To Mega Therion, and Sir Aleister Crowley...
