Poetic this, Buddy and these fellas were an early (and strong) inspiration for the Beatles, so it's great to see it the other way round.

Agreed, and the Crickets do a pretty good at sounding like the Beatles. Maybe they covered it just before the Beatles went supernova in the States in 1964.
