It may be a New York accent, but it's definitely not a Yonkers accent. Jay talks more like he's from Brooklyn. He sounds much like Art Carney when he played Ed Norton in The Honeymooners.

well since the boys were born and raised in NYC and were never even brought up to Yonkers to visit the grandmother, we went with a NYC accent- I would be interested to know why you think a Yonkers accent would be more appropriate to characters who were hardly ever in Yonkers.

is jay supposed to have a new york accent??? i couldnt tell in the video, bc my speakers arent working. but if someone could tell me i would really appriciate it because im auditioning for this in august.
