  • well since the boys were born and raised in NYC and were never even brought up to Yonkers to visit the grandmother, we went with a NYC accent- I would be interested to know why you think a Yonkers accent would be more appropriate to characters who were hardly ever in Yonkers.

  • thanks- next time he'll sound more like Horace Vandergelder.

  • poor suggestion when dealing with a thrust stage.

  • they're imitating the movie scene exactly

  • actually, they are performing the play expertly.

  • is jay supposed to have a new york accent??? i couldnt tell in the video, bc my speakers arent working. but if someone could tell me i would really appriciate it because im auditioning for this in august.

  • this actor did use a new york accent.

It may be a New York accent, but it's definitely not a Yonkers accent. Jay talks more like he's from Brooklyn. He sounds much like Art Carney when he played Ed Norton in The Honeymooners.

  • Bella is Prodigy-Amazing Talent! Excellent!

  • STUNNING JOB Bella and Louy!! Amazing cry at the end Bella, bravo!

  • Loius, cheat open at the beginning of the scene.

  • This is really good.. well done.

  • thats the part when she confesses

  • I'm doing this play now! Im Jay.
