Palitana, Shatrunjay Tirth

More than 1300 Parna occured on that day of Akshaya Tritiya or Akha Teej in Palitana, the Shatrunjay Teerth, Gujrat. Akha Teej is celebrated in Palitana every year with great enthusiasm. People climb the Siddhachal hillock and worship lord Rishabh dev or Adinath. Aproximately 2 Lakh people visit Palitana on that day every year.

I have heard about Palitana, Shatrunjay Tirth of Jain community but had never been there. This is a nice video that introduced me with the Jain Pilgrimage center.

More over, it is shooted on Akshaya Tritiya, Akha Teej.
