This appearance was taped off of David Letterman's Late Show in July of 1990, but I think it was a repeat show so I'm not sure when it originally aired. Gotta love Crowded House no matter where you find them.

  • The guys are brilliant here as ever--but I really got my money's worth in "wayback points" from seeing Dave wander out to shake their hands with an LP jacket in his hands. :-)

  • @blurr1969 I see that happening more and more lately as bands seem to want to release their material on vinyl. It may just be a "retro" thing, but I love seeing cover art in a size where the artistry can finally be seen.

  • I was looking fot a mint copy of this GREAT POST!!!

  • @DavelovesRealMusic Glad you enjoyed it. They're a great group!

  • Glad I could come up with it for you, bendistraw. Dave and Paul always had an ear open for uniquely talented bands.

  • God, I miss Paul Hester!

  • Grandissimi!!

  • i love all live Crowded House/Split Enz stuff, and this one blows me away! thanks, morrisonAV for posting this!! i missed it the first time around (as i missed a lot of their early stuff). btw, Neil is still HOT as all get out. i was honored to meet him last August in Austin, TX and even at 53 (10 years older than myself), he is still a genious songwriter and an all around good ol' boy as we say in TX. and did i say he was still hot?? LOL

  • I love how Paul does that "Curley Three-Stooges-esque" whhhooooo at the end of the song. God rest his soul.

  • Awesome!
