SECOND UPDATE:

Most of the Online Servers for the older Battlefield Games were taken offline permanently in Summer 2011. Therefore, the only way to get Veteran Status on those games is to contact EA Support and request that they manually add those games to your EA profile. You can use their online chat page at http://support.ea.com/chat.

To UPDATE your Veteran status you can go to http://battlefieldbadcompany2.com/veteran to view your Bad Company 2 stats, as well as update your current Veteran rank.


To EDIT your Veteran Status:

1. Click on where it says "VETERAN STATS: __"

2. Click on the icon for the game you want to add / update.

3. Enter in the required information, if necessary.

If you are having issues updating and/or linking your Games, Gamertag, and/or PSN, you can contact EA customer support through their online chat at the following link: http://support.ea.com/chat. Be sure to have all of your account(s) information available.

You can contact EA customer support and have them manually register your Veteran Status for if you are unable to add it yourself.

They can also register you if your PC Key's were stolen by someone using a Key Generator.

HOW CAN YOU INCREASE YOUR VETERAN RANK FOR FREE?

Battlefield Heroes, and the PC DEMOS for Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 can be used to increase your Veteran status! Please DO NOT argue with us over this fact. These games are clearly NOT in the list of titles that won't add to your veteran rank, which is why this works with their DEMO(s).


TUTORIAL:

1. Download / Install the PC Demo's / Trials for Battlefield Heroes, Battlefield 2, and Battlefield 2142.

2. If you have NOT done so already, create an EA account and link it to your Xbox Live Gamertag and/or PSN Name.

3. When you sign in or sign up for the game demos use your existing or newly created EA account and link all of the account information on the EA web site.

4. Go to hhttps://www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com/veteran and using the drop down box fill out the required information to update your Veteran Rank Status.

5. You can currently increase your rank to a total of 8.

* You do NOT have to play a game in the DEMO(s), you only have to log into or create an EA account from within the PC DEMO(s).

HOW TO COMBINE MULTIPLE EA LOGIN / ACCOUNT (PERSONA) INFORMATION:

1. If you have multiple accounts for all the various Battlefield Games, you can link them all together using the "EA Account Manager when you log into your "Main" EA account on EA's web site.

2. Go to "EA Account Manager" and click on "Add Persona."

3. This will allow you to add an existing Xbox LIVE Gamertag, existing PLAYSTATION Network Online ID, as well as an existing EA Classic Screen Name.

A lot of the older BF games ONLINE "masterservers" were taken offline permanately. Therefore there is no way to get Veteran Status by playing those games as you cannot play ONLINE, at least NOT on EA servers.

You'll have to contact EA via their ONLINE Chat to get them to manually give you Veteran Status for your BF Games.

Uh, i did the customer support chat and tried to get two games added to my veteran status of 1, and the woman instead of giving me a V.S. of 3, gave me a V.S. of 8! i don't know why she did it, but it made me go crazy with nerd-gasms.
