Lincoln and Carter guide us through the Icicle Maze at Santa's Village in downtown Huntsville. (Sorry about the flashing lights! It kind of makes the video hard to watch at times.) While at Santa's Village, we visited with Santa (see video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPYWL8L0dbQ), decorated Christmas cookies in Mrs. Claus's kitchen, listened to Mrs. Claus read us a storybook, saw two real live reindeer, colored and decorated Christmas ornaments, toured Santa's house, worked with a blacksmith who was making shoes for the reindeer, and played in the snow flurries! (The snow flurries were actually tiny soap bubbles that were blown from the roofs by big fans. It really looked like snow falling, but, according to Lincoln, it didn't taste like snow. It tasted like soap!) It was a great "Family Fun Night," and two little boys fell asleep in the car on the way home. (5 Dec. 2010)
