Um... I don't know if the engine sounds right, and seems to be vibrating irregularly. Granted, I don't normally run the engine standing this close to it, or with the hood open.

your cars f*cked sel it or go to a car parts store like kragen an dbuy two things. First an OBD Code reader for like 35 to 40 dollars the most, then look up the codes it gives you. then from there see what you need ot do. if your feeling it, grab the repair manual for the car they sell them for 25 dollars the most, i find them for 20.

that code reader will tell you whats wrong, ask a couple mechanics how much roughly and if its worth it if not do it yourself or craigslist that sucker

That humming sounds like either a fan or the compressor. But the knocking should be looked into. Probably nothing but worth looking into.
