Meesha the kitten is enjoying his first Christmas Tree. He insisted on climbing in it when we first put it up but now he's content to just bat at the ornaments to watch them dangle. Sometimes he does his ninja thing where he does little turns while he attacks them. It's cute to watch.

Cats cannot resist a Christmas tree. It's practically made for cats. Shiny objects, dangling objects, new smells, colorful lights, nooks and crannies to crawl into, tall towering structure to loom over everything. The tree is just asking for it.

This reminds me of when my late female Calico cat Apple Blossom was a kitten,it was her first Christmas with my late husband & I in our new home. Will one mornning Apple decided to climb way up high & clear to the top of the Christmas tree. I was busy in the kitchen getting our breakfast ready,when suddenly Iheard this loud thud on the floor. Sure enough our new kitten had knocked over our Christmas tree. She had broken alot of my late Mother's priceless XMas Bulbs & she ran & hid . T
