Edit - After this recorded run, I was able to cut time off of it and run faster for a new time of 1:26:18

Yeah! :D Now I'm gonna chase down Kishi's 100% Speedrun time of 01:57:10. Should be fun to go against!

I apologize in Advance for the shakiness of the vids. I couldn't find a nice groove to sit in a hunched position until about the 3rd Video and even then it wasn't comfortable. XD

But I did it anyways to be the first and cause Shantae deserves it! :D

The First of 12 videos in my Shantae: Risky's Revenge Speedrun. I woulda had this uploaded earlier, but I ran into a bit of problems w/ editing the videos (Windows Movie Maker Live sucks since you can't strip the audio from videos and add separately recorded audio.) Theses are recorded in 1080p just cause the Camera I used went that way so go 720p just for the sake of sound! :D

This is the first time I did something like this so finding a comfortable position to sit as the camera recorded wasn't no cakewalk. I even dropped my DSi @ the end of the 2nd Vid! XP

I'll upload bit by bit (as the next video is being saved as we speak.)

If you guys have any questions, please ask away. I'll try to help out of anything.

Big ups to Wayforward on such an epic game! We need more! :D

I thought the dash backwards was faster than Shantae's running speed. I guess it isn't then.

@aidanM92 it somewhat is. Running is Optimal though since backdash is good, but you need to reset in a crowded area. it could... nay... will cost you a bit more to backdash the entire way than to run it out.

I'm sorry to bother you, but I was wondering how you got Shantae's picture on you DSi menu. Is the bikini photo the only one you can get up there, or can you get the normal completion photo up there too?
