Peter van der Velde plays the Andante Sostenuto from the 9th ("Gotique") symphony of C.M.Widor on the Schijven organ at the Cathedral in Antwerpen, Belgium. Recorded 30 May 2008.

Que voulez-vous dire par "trop baroqueux"?? trop en mesure à certains moments, trop articulé? Sachez que dans pareille acoustique il est nécessaire d'articuler un minimum (même dans la musique symphonique) pour que tout reste lisible en bas dans la nef. Même si je reconnais une grande raideur à cette version, cette perception ici à la console n'est que caricaturale.Sinon il s'agit ici de l'orgue Schyven de la cathédrale d'Anvers (100 jeux/IV&P) et de son titulaire Peter Vandevelde
