NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- Seventy-five years of conservation was celebrated at the Fair Sunday. The United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service hosted a forum and discussed past and present projects that have improved the state's agriculture and environment.
Representatives also expressed the importance of joining efforts with private agencies such as the Cornell Cooperative Extension and others.
"Everyone around the whole state, when it comes to agricultural farmers, from the foods that we eat, the water that we drink, the air that we breathe, is also associated and assisted by the partners that we have here in the State of New York," said Astor Boozer, conservationist.
