5:48 Is that an old rotary dial phone ?
These reactors that are still operating have 1960's technology ?

That's cute they have the birdie in there. I hope they keep her where she is safe from contamination and radiation though. :(

@ czwij, couldn't agree with you more on this mate!!! It was our fuck up and ours only! The fact that our Sovient government was responsible for a lot more deaths than just Chernobyl, but since the break up of the union, Ukrain is left to deal with it on its own, and it has no natural resources to support the financial part of cleaning up the mess. Thus, at the end of the day, we are all suffering still and will until someone does something about it, and it won't be Russia, they don't care

@cryogenesis007 much like germany is still paying for their screw ups (putting it lightly) from 39-45, why doesn't russia foot the bill for this fuck up? it shouldn't be europe's problem. it's the soviets who screwed this up, let their children take the blame and cost. oh and i agree. fuck greece. their mess, let them deal with it.

@agwhitaker I still keep a rotary dial phone just in case. It's extremely unlikely to fail, whereas all it takes to knock out my DECT phones is a power outage.

The European Government which is the nearest to the Reactor 4 decided that bailing out Greece was better for our health... Those are the leaders we vote for today.. Cunt's cannot even imagine the fact of their future generations will suffer and die because of that accident. I would rather see us being saved from nuclear potential disaster than to worry about an island in the sea

@agwhitaker at the end of the video says BBC MCMXCVI. MCMXCVI means 1996.
But honestly, I doubt that something has changed at the station since then.
