Lucky Floyd is Alive and Well......trust me! I play golf with him Every Thursday. And sometimes, just maybe, you can hear him singing an old tune from a couple fairways over. I didn't know him in the old days, but he's still entertaining people today. A really good guy and a lot of fun to be around.

I'm pretty sure the reports of Lucky's demise are premature. He attended the Iraan "Floyd Years" band reunion last fall. Nobody from Seagraves (a close knit bunch of ex-students where he graduated high school) has heard of his death - and I'm pretty sure we would have.

Lucky Floyd was my band director in school. A great person and musician. This is awesome.

Watched lucky floyd and the Sparkles(which included Gary P Nunn) several times as a kid in Brownfield,Tx and once in Seagraves,Tx at the roller skate rink. Sure would like to hear Jack and the Beanstalk song again.They rocked. Never forgot em. Sadly Lucky commited suicide I heard.
