  • This is my step-sister and she has always been a very brave and independent person. She never considered giving up and feeling sorry for herself as she planned to find a way to take care of her children and her family. I am very proud of her and her work to help others experiencing blindness after facing such a life changing experience herself. She is an example of why we should be appreciative of the senses we have and never allow difficulties in life to keep us down. Way to go Deidre!
