  • thats right. 2.0 amps of constant draw will drain your battery in a couple of days.

  • Unless you left something like a door/dome light on, ALMOST ALWAYS, the young technicians are missing the real source of THAT 650 milliamp drain. It is the ECM that has not been given it's required after engine shutdown time delay, usually less than 30 minutes, that allows the ECM to enter SLEEP MODE. Then you should see less than 50 milliamps.

  • One has to remember there is going to be some draw on the system due to the memories in computers,clock and radio etc.There's always some draw general rule with GM. anyways is no more than 25 mili-amps or .2 amps.
