What's the Best Webcam?

I have the quick cam vision pro but it doesn't look like HD quality. The video is not too great. You see a fanning (for lack of a better term) effect when you move your arms/hands....not smooth at all. I'm using a 42" Sony Bravia as my monitor - coming from the HDMI out of a mac mini. Also the audio has a tendency to clip when I raise my voice. I don't think this camera is good for the price. It should be $39.99.

Any thoughts on hos to make it perform better...?

Are you talking about the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000? Isn't that from 2007? This video is from 2010, surely better webcams had come out in the past 3 years.

did you say the Logitech 9000 does everything in hardware, handles the processing and all? I would love to see how much that helps the PC CPU compared to a webcam that does not handle the video processing internally.

i bought a kodak s101 and the video looks just like his. the picture is slow and the audio doesnt match. was looking for answers lol
