This is a great drill for young athletes to learn how to get explosive. These two athletes are soccer studs in the jackson area.

  • these kids are alittle young to be in a weight room...they need to watch out for knee injuries doing this exercise.

  • @TJ9719 if a person has got a lot of explosive muscles he's able to release a big amount of energy in a short amount of time, which means you can get to top runningspeed faster, lift heavier weights or jump higher. Tho it should be said that explosive muscles are worn out in a different way than more stamina-trained muscles which can go on for a longer period of time, but which cannot do the same output of energy in that short time.. if you get what i mean

  • @codeman95291 says who? and what makes it look bad for their knees?

  • There is 0 research that says strength training is bad for kids....zero

  • kids are never to young to hit the weight room under the right supervision, when USSR was in ther prime they started kids at the age of 6 and dominated sports while americans where worried about Body Building and HOW MUCH CAN YOU BENCH BULLSH*T. Great Vid keep it coming.

  • this looks bad for the knee joints. these kids are probably good athletes but i don't think they should be doing stuff like that at that age

  • This is great for young athletes thanks for posting....

  • good for explosiv hip movement

  • will this improve speed quickness and vertical leap?

  • running.... mma.....etc in mma you want to be able to strike fast in running you want to be able to take off quickly...

  • @TJ9719 For basketball players I notice it's for their vertical jump. Lebron James would be a good example with his "highlight" dunks. Hope that helps.
