We played this song at my son's funeral, graveside. It was heartbreakingly beautiful. We love you Sawyer <3

I'll never forget, the second or third time I saw Nickel Creek I walk in to the Norva and holy shit its Jack Black playing the guitar as an opening act. Come to find out the guys name is Martin Sexton and he was amazing. Nickel Creek was of course awesome.

This song makes me think of my friends, I lost in Afghanistan. Still hurts.
Even more with this song.

I love these guys! They are the best in the world in my humble opinion for this genre, if there is one for their music. If there isnt one, its a new genre called "the most comforting, listenable loving and wonderful music ever"! : )

they really have a unique sound, which is hard to find...

credit should go where credit is due... this song is actually not original with Nickel Creek, it's a cover, sort of. i say sort of because Tim O'Brien wrote and recorded it, but NC obviously crafted this beautiful arrangement.

This group does some really great things with the original bluegrass sound. I love it!

Absolutely beautiful. How can anyone level the claim "horrible playing" at this?? It's just inconceivable!
