You don't have to like every single song of a band's to be considered a "true fan". I won't lie, I don't really like Mylo Xyloto at all. I bought it, I tried to make myself like it, but I just couldn't. I do, however, still consider Coldplay my favorite band. I favor their old sound from albums like Parachutes and ARoBttH, but I commend Coldplay for changing their sound for every album and keeping it fresh. And I consider myself a true Coldplay fan. Just my opinion.
