  • Shepherds Are Great!!!

Looks just like the Gibson R101B im getting!

what do you think of the R101B?

  • I have had a look at Gibson R101B, all plastic chanters are pretty much the same, mine is african blackwood so you get a more mellow sound, the only tip I can give is use the reed manufacture that Gibson recommend because practice chanter reeds do vary from manufacture to manufacture and some do not suit some practice chanters

  • r u grade one????

  • I do not play for a grade 1 band but I play Grade 1 stuff like Highland Wedding, Donald Cameron etc working on the Cameronian Rant and Pretty Marion

  • do you have the music for this?

  • I have the music aswell

  • I love this tune. It brings back a memory of when I was 18 and an old guy of 90 years old gave me a lesson on the practice chanter in his little cottage and it was this tune.I remember him showing me a box containing pipe reeds and he said to me "some of these reeds are twice as old as you, son".

  • is it possible to play guitar solos on the bagpipes because im always saying if i learn teh bagpipes im going to play six by all that remains

  • hey, you play it really well. could you please send me the sheet music if you got it? i would really like to learn it and i like your version most.

  • You should consider to take up circular breathing,- it is great for the practice chanter.

  • Do you play this tune in a band or solo?

  • You play that so well! Better than I can play that tune that's for sure. You should learn to circular breathe. It makes playing easier because you don't have to stop. It really helps me to stay more focused on the tune and I highly recommend it to anyone.

  • straight into my favs

  • very well played laddie

  • nice birls
