A Climate Event to End Time

I'm disappointed that NATGEO would actually upload 2012 garbage. NASA confirmed that the world will not end in 2012 recently. I knew it wouldn't end anyway. There's also several websites saying that the world will not end. It's a hoax, a hoax that led to the suicide of many people and scared children. Yet, there's TV shows telling everybody the world might end in 2012. The 21 of December is the end of the winter solstice that year not the world. Why would the world suddenly end that day?

Honestly, that is a stupid question to ask. The Mayas now have no connection or the understanding their ancestral ancient calendar except for the Mayan elder of today.
