This is a wooden marble machine. It is 6 feet tall, and is powered only by potential energy, a little kinetic energy and gravity. there are no motors, batteries or cranks. It uses a 3/8 inch diameter steel marble, which starts at the bottom, and goes to the top, and then returns to the bottom,making this trip about 1,300 times in 24 hours.

how does the ball go from The Summit back to Rock Bottom, and how do the all the parts reset for another ball run? I feel silly asking but i m blown away by this contraption!

I am a Mechanical Designer and I was trained by XeniaGuy2. He taught me alot about designing alot of different things. I can say his work is amazing!
He has been making this machine ever since I have known him in 1989.
