I've been watching many of these videos and I can't help but wonder...

How did so many old american bikes end up in Japan?

A buddy of mines told me that a lot of the old muscle cars wound up in mexico after the gas crisis in the 1980's, and from what I see here, a lot of the old bikes somehow would up in Japan. Even the old WWII bikes are over there.

How did this come to happen?

1977' basically means it's an AMF POS! AMF is the sole reason Harley get's such a backlash of "Quality Control" issues. Leaking oil, constant breakdown's, poor over all quality...ect. Do yourself a favor and stay away from ANY Harley made between the years 69-81' because their bikes were pure piles of shit!
