This is a clip from the movie "Glinka The Composer" made in 1952. The movie is about the life and the art work of the great Russian composer Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka (1804-1857), and also about his study in Italy and the creation of the operas "Ivan Susanin" and "Ruslan & Ludmila".
