  • @vicenteplus10 Yes, both have front strut braces and rear whiteline sway bars. The car never overheated because the brake pads only lasted around 5-6 hard laps before needing to do a cool down lap.

  • Did you need any roll/sway bars? It looks like there is zero body roll in that video!!

Also, did it overheat at all? Or could you have gone hard for a long time?

  • @vicenteplus10 I used to have a 1.5L CE coupe and had an awesome time at Winton with it. All it needed was good tyres and rims and suspension...surprised a lot of people at how well it handled too!

But nothing compared to my car now!

  • That's brilliant!! makes me want to take my stock 2000 Lancer MR 5spd out to a track day and throw it around!!

  • @Lozenger91 I'm not sure as most of it was done by previous owner...I finished the project and had it engineered, so i've spent a fair bit on it too..It came 3rd in the recent Time Attack challenge at Calder park. It's for sale on Carsales SSE-AD-149078

  • How much did this conversion cost you all up ??? and I'm guessing torque-steer much ???
