The Origin of Diseases - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdCOIX2cJRc

It is almost invariably assumed that aminals with bodies composed of a single cell represent the primitive animal from which all others derived. They are commonly supposed to have preceded all other animals types in their appearance. There is not the slightest basis for this assumption." *Austin Clark, The New Evolution (1930), p 235-236.

"The theory of evolution is totally inadequate to explain the origin and manifeatestation of the inorganic world." *Sir Ambrose Fleming, F.R.S., quoted in H. Enoch, Evolution or Creation (1968), p. 9 [discoverer of the thermionic valve]

"Nearly all [evolutionists biologists] take an ultimately conservative stand, believing that [the problem] can be explained away by making only minor adjustments to the Darwinian framework. In this book..I have tried to show why I believe the problems are too severe and too intractable to offer any hope of resolution in terms of the orthodox Darwinian framework." *Michael Denton, Evolution: A Theory in Crisis (1985), p. 16.

"For all it's acceptance in the scientific works as the great unifing principle of biology, Darwinism, after a century and a quarter, is in a suprising amount of trouble." *Francis Hitching, The Neck of the Giraffe (1982), p. 12.

"It is inherent in any definition of science that statements that cannot be checked by observation are not really saying anything--or at least they are not science." *George Gaylord Simpson, "The Nonprevalence of Humanoids," in Science 143 (1964) p. 770.

"We still do not know the mechanics of evolution in spite of the over-confident claims in some quarters, nor are we lightly to make further progress in this by the classical methods of paleontology or biology." Errol White, Proceedings of the Linnean Society, London 177:8 (1988)

it's too complicated? so everything you don't understand after a little research is too complex to explain where it came from? i don't say science has all the answers, but this is a pile of made up crap.. try getting an A in the exams by writing 'too difficult to understand - must've been created by a superior intelligence'

  • @BereanBeacon1 Two things: I think I was too harsh in my reply, I think and even as I expressed in my reply, creation and evolution work hand in hand to progress their offspring. As to "why it would never work", makes no sense as it is obviously working. Evolution IS intelligence, just too intelligent for us. For you to consider it cannot be too complex for us, means yu think yourself greater than god. Good luck with that. I won't continue, but hope TIME helps you.

  • @chrisg307 LOL, sorry, but evolution is a not real science, but science fiction. "Evolution is way too complex for us" is why it would never work.

  • Creation is not as intelligent as Evolution IMHO because the first is a finite response. The second is by definition an ongoing response to ongoing attacks of new creations. I am sorry you are confused, but I can understand your adherence to a static idea. Evolution is way too complex for us.

  • @ThaiFabi Lol. I know right, get educated people! Science is brilliant

  • @rhuhawk Not that I have much in the way of emotions in the way of this subject, nor regarding what others do, or do not believe in since others beliefs (or lack there of) have no impact on me one way or the other. Then again I posted the first commet two years ago on a mommentary lark and was over it momments after writting it. In closing nothing matters, not people, the planet, not I nor anything else. Unless of course I'm wrong and God exists and people are real suolful beings then Whoops! :P

  • @rhuhawk Everlasting means everlasting and I'm just not seeing that. I just can not fathom the illogic of letting other selfish being who fear death, try and convince others that they should eat, sleep, breath, and ultimately Die in order to feed their need to 'try and forget' their mortality. That is just as bad as believing in religion because one feels they Need hope. Hope in religion is as illogical as denial of the mortality of ones accomplishments is in evolution.

    Nihilists are realists.

  • @rhuhawk Still not seeing how helping others (to their benifit) is helpful to you when, once you die, you cease to be. All of those you've known will join you in oblivion, your geno-class will die out in time, you nation, the human race, the earth, and finally the whole of the universe. Nothing lasting. Yet you contend that because something of the accomplishments of one lone being May continue for the benifit of other people (who are nothing more than chemical robots), you continue through them

  • @Steeler49er Of course there is everlasting value in helping others. I help others because I believe in sharing my knowledge so that people around me can benefit. I expect nothing in return. It is much better to live in cooperative society rather one that promotes competition for selfish gains. Of course healthy competition is encouraged with the right goals in mind. Biologically speaking we as primates are social pack animals and cooperating with each other ensures our survival.

  • @rhuhawk So In closing...

    Selfish=GOOD! :)

    Self-centered+In religion= Bad! :(

    Selfless-ness+Evolution=Berry Berry Bad! IP -(Yuk)

It's fine to be selfish as an evolutionist, but to let Other selfish people (who are suffering from "death denial") tell you that you must exist for the "Greater Good', when in fact they can offer you nothing of lasting value in return for your services, call you selfish and evil for your selfishness, is hypocracy on their part.

    Is bad.

    Greater Good=Ultra Bad!

  • @rhuhawk As far as After-lives and selfishness goes, Being selfish for "Your Own benifit", That is a good thing (even in evolution) and I made No bones about it not being the case in regards to either Evolution Or Religiousness. In Both cases it is Good to be selfish. However, in regards to religion it is Very Bad to be Self-centered (as that generally gets you kicked out of whatever after-life you believe in) and Very VERY bad to be utterly Self-less in evolution (as that makes you a slave).
