Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin.... No American classical composers? Possibly, because at the time of when most "classical", ie, old music was composed, America was still a vast land populated by Native Indians. It has produced some amazing classical composers.

They are all terrible. Compare them to Beethoven, Brahms, or Tchaikovsky. If you think American composers are "amazing," then you don't know the real meaning of classical music. Yeah, David Soul is rubbish too.

That's a bit narrow-minded, isn't it. You should broaden your horizon and accept different styles of music, too.... It's like saying all Opera is crap. All church music is boring. There's some good and some bad in everything, and not even all pieces by Beethoven or Brahms are equally good.
