@georgexxx83 Aaron Copland maybe?!?!?!?

Lol, he is the perfect pops conductor!
-
After Bernstein - an exception - I guess Tilson Thomas is the best US conductor.
-
eh, he can really put down the mark but he accelerates between points.

That's a bit narrow-minded, isn't it. You should broaden your horizon and accept different styles of music, too.... It's like saying all Opera is crap. All church music is boring. There's some good and some bad in everything, and not even all pieces by Beethoven or Brahms are equally good.
-
They are all terrible. Compare them to Beethoven, Brahms, or Tchaikovsky. If you think American composers are "amazing," then you don't know the real meaning of classical music. Yeah, David Soul is rubbish too.

Thx for posting this! I think to be able to do something you just learnt and try it is great! Good for him! As we're in Canada we just saw this now, so thx again!

Americans and classical music just don't mix. If you look at history, there is NO great American conductor, composer, or musician (you don't need to tell me who Leonard Bernstein is, btw).
