Dale Earnhardt Jr., Danica Patrick and Tony Eury Jr. discuss drafting during the Nationwide practice at Daytona: February 10, 2010. The announcers apologized for Junior's language, stating that he obviously didn't know they were on TV at the time. Dale Jarrett defended him, saying that sometimes normal language just doesn't work to get the point across!

  • On one hand -- he's Dale Jr, so is this really a surprise?

On the other hand -- filthy language is still filthy language. Not everyone has to use curse words when describing stuff.

Either way, ESPN shouldn't have been so close without them knowing.

  • @AirshipOverWater ESPN was hooked into Danica's in-car camera, so Jr. had no way of knowing that he was on TV. If ESPN had a 5 second delay, it wouldn't have been a problem.

  • lol! Oh c'mon people! Like a lot of people don't cuss already. He is human after all. And like it says at the top, he didn't know he was on t.v. He cusses on his radio all the time. I listen to his radio, and he cusses a lot, lol. And I agree with crazyforjr88 Jr speaks his mind, and that's one of the things we love about him. :-)

  • I don't get it. None of these comments, so far, say anything negative against Jr. for swearing. Who are you talking to?

  • @tryanoman6 "I race a car." Yeah...that doesn't really apply to this situation. If you would have read my comment (assuming you have the understanding of an intelligent adult, but this may be unlikely) you would see the context of my comment and know I wasn't condemning Jr for using foul language. ESPN shouldn't have been so close to him, but Jr isn't required to use that vocabulary. He chooses to and that's fine, however. I'd be surprised if he didn't, TBH. Me preaching? I don't think so.

  • @AirshipOverWater I race a car, not nascar, but i race 4 cylinder mustang on dirt. and dirty lanuage is gonna be a part of racing. Everyone gets pist, so just shut the fuck up please and go preach to someone else??

  • when stuff like this happens, i always think of thesouthpark movie when cartman swears at garrison.

  • @88fanforlife LoL Yea, that was funny.

  • @jraybay its excatly like this years coke 600 when jimmie blew up and fox had the bright idea of going on chad kanus' radio channel

  • @ChicagoJrFan Haha, I just read all these comments, starting with the newest and working my way back. And I was like "yeah, I agree, who is bothered by his language?" and then I read the rest of the comments and there were just NO negative comments.

Can you please shut it up, I don't think Danica Patrick looks fat in her race wear. Oh, nobody said that? :D

  • I'm not a jr fan but give the guy a break he didnt know he was being recorded.

  • Not to mention the idiots in the truck stayed with them after his first curse word, it IS Dale Jr after all...lol...but who gives a shit anyway. "Bad" language is such an outdated concept.

  • Danica is HOT
