  • I'm really looking forward to this. Anything Brendan Gleeson is in is at very least watchable for me, but this also just looks really good.

  • That city-by-night view at the start of the 1st sequence is of Eyre square in Galway city in the west of Ireland for those wondering, and the countryside west of that is the Irish/Gaelic speaking area of County Galway called Connemara where 'The Guard' was filmed....Galway is a lovely place for goin on the complete rip

  • @noelio67 it is in my bllox ! i was ineyre square and the scum walking around the place is terrible , being from dublin i was almost afraid to talk

  • just watched it 4 stars very good! Go out and watch it!

  • Seen it last night, fantastic film. Being and understanding Irish humour adds a lot this, but there should be alot to take away from it for everyone. Brendan Gleeson is a powerhouse.

  • I'm Irish and saw this at a focus group screening a year ago in London. I was worried that it was gonna have a distinct Irish humour but the audience loved it. It did need some tweaking in spots but it was great from start to finish; the opening scene brilliantly is hilarious and brillianty sets the tone for it. Hope it blows peoples socks off when it gets a general release!

  • funnnnnnnny

  • gonna be amazing, maybe film of the year.

  • looks good
