It's pretty evident that these machines were made with fraud in mind because it would be a very fundamental task to make these machines absolutely tamper-proof. All you'd have to do is have the entire core code be ROM based and have no possible way for it to accept any additional code.

Suggestion:

There should be surveillence cameras in the voting places during the time when hackers are most likely to install the virus and during Election Day, just in case they want to install the virus when they are trying to vote then. They will be set to record the voting place throughout the day. Officials will then watch the security tape/DVD and find out who is the crook. They may take his or her biometric info and find him and arrest him.

This is scary. The fact that this situation remains uncorrected speaks volums about the integrity of the American political Process as well the childlike ignorance of the electorate at large. Heads should roll over this. Where is the outcry. Democracy in the states is fiction. What a sham. The Russians should be taking notes to see how it is done.

they have basically dispatched an infantry unit of about 800 spread across the nation to set up command/control and coordination with law enforcement officials in event of some disaster or 'civil unrest'

Is it any wonder that BushCo is planning on having to quell rioting after Nov4? They are using flawed machines, purging voter rolls (and caging) to steal yet another election.

I wish the ppl worried about ACORN were as concerned about this stuff...

Here in canada we vote on paper ballots, we mark a 'X' in a circle beside a candidates name. WE put that paper ballot into a box, which is counted at poll closing.... Its not complicated ppl, and doesnt have to be.
