rumors have been floating around. So far my contacts at MAC hasn't heard anything about the shadesticks going bye bye.

You could easily make that into a different look. Perhaps barnicles for an under-water feel? Very cool!

How do you feel the Mascara X compares to the Fibre Rich Lash Mascara? Which do you prefer and why?

thanks lab! - definitely MASCARA X. Fibre Rich just gets very flakey due to the volume of fibers in it, and it smears/smudges in humid conditions. Mascara X wand is shaped like a football and just glides on you lashes nicely, and you get volume and thickness right on the first coat.
