I've had psoriasis since I was 3. Your skin is acting as a second liver. Instead of overloading your liver your body is pouring it out on your skin. I got this info from the book. I really believe it because I notice whenever I'm constipated my psoriasis gets a bit worse. Not majorly but def worse. Do what I told you in the last comment, those are all the steps. Also use virgin coconut oil as your skin moisturizer. I will message you the link to that book if you want to buy it, it's an ebook.

OK, no disrespect here I have psoriasis myself. I've seen your raw bread recipe (with the wheat berries) and you've gained some weight. Your belly looks high. I think it's toxins. I recently found this book on the cure. I haven't started it yet cuz I'm in school and haven't bought all the necessary materials. You gotta do extensive cleansing. It basically: 1.parasite-colon cleanse simultaneously 2.kidney cleanse 3. liver cleanse (at least 8 times wait a week in between each) 4. blood cleanse

Psoriasis, eh? I haven't experienced it, but I can understand why you'd go back on a med.
Since you're interested in natural remedies, thought I'd let you know about one you might not have heard of: The Milk Cure. One eats and drinks nothing but oodles of raw milk from grass fed cows. In the article "Real Milk Cures Many Diseases," J. R. Crewe writes:
"Interestingly, diseases that have no similarity respond equally to this treatment. For instance, psoriasis clears up beautifully."

I enjoy your videos a lot. Don't feel like you have to apologise for using medication that you need - you have given all else a good go and if it didn't clear it, then it's best to take care of yourself with what will work for you. Keep up the good work!

What I'm trying to say is, don't be hard on yoruself. Look back to when you were the most pleased with your diet and weight. Take cues from what you were doing at that time and try to walk down that path again. Maybe all raw isn't for you, maybe 80%? Maybe you juice one or two days a week, or maybe you try a juice fast. are there retreats where you eat raw for a week or two near by? I live in California, so I know there is one in SoCal. Good luck to you and I wish you all the best! - Sara

Matt, I've followed your vlogs for liek 2 years and you have been a big inspiration to me. I'm currently my highest weight, not following my vegan lifestyle, not very happy and not able to stick to the master cleanse. Your video was very honest. There is not black and white, cut and dry answer. This is a journey. If you've watched RawDownUnder's vlog you know that Therese's lifestyle or raw food has ups and downs, and high and low points too. She's a great source of inspiration.
AWESOME, I voted for you. You don't have to be 100% raw. Go easy on yourself. Exercise.

Thanks!
I have found that most people into the raw food diet aren't actually raw foodists, but vegans who try to eat as much raw food as they can. That's pretty much what I'm interested in.

I'm glad you won the BlendTek. I voted for you :) . Just do what is best for you. Have you considered adding fermented foods along with your green smoothies? The Body Ecology Diet by Donna Gates and Wild Fermentation by Sandor Katz -- He's also YouTube. It's great for boosting the immune system It's a balance and everyone is different. Thanks for making the vid. Take care and Good Luck.

I was into fermented food for a while. I was drinking a bottle of homemade kombucha every morning for a couple months. It gave me a lot of energy, but did nothing for my skin.
