Time lapse video of how to color a rhythmic gymnastics ribbon with dye & markers.
Materials used for Dyeing:
Aquamarine Liquid Rit Dye
Dylon Permanent Fabric Dye in Fuchsia Pink
iDye Violet
(You can really use any kind of dye, these were just the dyes I had at home that were already available)
Materials Used for coloring design:
Fabric Mate Fabric Markers
Bic Permanent Markers
(Sharpie is also ok.)
The colors of the ribbon are really light because it matches the leotard. But remember for stronger more potent colors all you have to do is use more dye, and leave the ribbon in it for a longer amount of time.
