Jay Turser and Killian Red

Here's a little couch session with my Jay Turser JTA410Q-TSB. My sidekick is Killian Red, a four legged feline blues fan. As far as the guitar goes, I replaced the nut and saddle with Graph Tech Tusqs. I replaced the tuners with Grover vintage style Sta-Tites, and reshaped the headstock so the top is flat. The action is a whisker under 4/64ths with no buzz. These little guitars are fantastic, and with the mods I did, it is the closest thing I could find to an old pre-war 12 fret concert style, without spending $3,000.00 or more. I have less than $200.00 invested in this guitar. Killian on the other hand is priceless!!

Shit, what kind of strings do you use? mine won't bend worth a crap.. lol I use elixers for electric..

@paintballingguy I use Ernie Ball Earthwood Rock and Blues strings. They're 10-52 with a solid 17 G.

Very nice!

I saw these parlour guitars at my local music shop and thought they were toys or props. But it looks and sounds like they're serious guitars.

I"m just a beginner and maybe I'll get one of these... instead of those $900 guitars all my friends have!
