Awesome. Finally, a video I can show people when they ask "What is it like to fly a Powered Paraglider (PPG) ?" This camera's wide-angle lens is from one of the first GoPro HD cameras sold in America. I pre-ordered it, went out for a test run, and was so happy with the results that I made a video of it. Now everyone has a GoPro! Damn it!
The GoPro HD camera is now a staple among all action sports. It captures the whole scene; from the wing dipping down to the horizon to the ground spinning below to the pilots legs swinging in the breeze. No straight lines on THIS flight.
People ask me if I have time to fly my powered paraglider because I'm always so busy making comedy videos ABOUT paragliders. The answer is, "YES, I do."

  • The Ozone Ultralight is a wing that I would like to have in my arsenal. The K2 is a fine multi-purpose wing. I have flown it. Safety is almost ALWAYS a choice of the pilot's decisions. Start with what your instructor recommends and then move on from there.

  • Livin' the dream baby!

  • when did you start flying lol you hAD FUN

  • Yes. I actually fly SOMETIMES.

  • Great Video, Paul.

    Great video quality.

    Great camera location.

Did your leg get tired?? How did you hold it so steady? Did you have something to ait holdin you leg out but still allowed you to run for takeoff and landing?

  • I attached it to a post on my foot after take-off. The length of your leg isolates it from vibration and the wide angle lens reduces visible shaking.

  • Nice work , hope to see another video's like that !

    like it.

  • Awesome! Where was this shot? Looks like the Sacramento Valley.

  • Great video! Paul, what do you know about the Ozone Ultralight wing? Is it safe? I keep hearing the K2 is the only real safe wing to fly, and quite frankly, all the talk about all other wings being unsafe due to stalling or collapsing is scaring me away from flying. Especially all of the videos I see the guy "Flattop" making. Your input would be greatly appreciated, as I can't afford to spend the money on the K2.

  • Great Video Paul!

    Thanks for sharing. Blue Skies

  • fucky yeah this guy is living!!
