A really nice car.
But why 'Lucerne'? I'm comeing from the city Lucerne in switzerland.
Why is this car called Lucerne??

I'm 43 and own a 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL.
It's a nice car. Is it a perfect car? No.
The trunk seems a bit on the small side and I wish GM included a 6 speed automatic transmission instead of a 4speed.
But the car's interior is quiet and the suspension offers a comfortable ride.
If some of the reports I've read online are true, 2010 will be the Lucerne's final model year (assuming GM is able re-organize and exit from Chapter 11 as expected).

wow afew buick haters. guess they dont know buick passed lexus in most reliable. and they are the most sold car in china.

GM BRANDS have one a lot of awards mostly PONTIAC <CHEVROELT AND BUICK for car of the year ect ect

Buick is the most poised, of all GM Divisions, for a tremendous comeback. The Lucerne is living room quiet. The Enclave is so popular dealers can not keep them in stock. I would suggest anyone who doubts this to go and drive an Enclave. The upcoming production of the Invicta Concept will be a SMASH hit as well.
