I love The Raveonettes, and they are capable of making MASSIVE noise and fuzz. I don't understand why they wouldn't do that on a SY cover. It's still decent though.

Have you heard SY? I wouldn't exactly call most of their vocal work "singing." Broaden your horizons a little bit. Deadpan vocal delivery can work and has worked before.
