There are 4 actions in the exercise:
1] Attack by mandritto fendente from Posta di Donna to Posta Longa
2] Remedy (parry) of mandritto fendente to a left-framed Posta Breve and thrust into Posta Longa
3] A counter of tutta volta di spada and riverso fendente with a mezza volta of the body
4] Counter to the counter by transition from the remedy (2 above) to Posta Frontale, followed by a mezzano to the cheek
The goal of the exercise is to perform a series of actions at modestly fast speed and power with precise control of sword, tempo and measure.
This is not an instructional or demonstration video of perfect actions, but a record of in-class exercises, including errors of execution.
