More West Coast DX......... KW7Y Remote operation from California USA via Laptop 1100miles away!!!!!

This is a QSO between DAVE (M0OGY) and Paul (KW7Y...Remote) in San Diego, California USA on his vacation.His home station is 1100miles away in Washington State which has a Kenwood radio ,amp and 3 over 3 Yagi beams.Paul is operating remotely via a laptop computer and a 10$ headset!.The QSO took place on 21/02/09.This is a first for me working a remote station on 20 meters.....Thanks DAVE (M0OGY) North Lincolnshire UK

Thanks Paul for the Infomation, very clever indeed........nice QSO......I use the Heil footswitch and hold the camera in my hand,I do have a Tripod and remote control for my Sony Handycam but its messing about!!!.Yes it is the internal Microphone too......Regards DAVE (M0OGY) North Lincs UK
