I don't get it. Which monestery? St. John the Baptist? How could Macedonians stole it? Where it was? In Serbia and we stole it and bring it to Macedonia?

Usurped is the right word. Sorry.

It was where it was, but when Macedonians separated from Serbian church, they chased Serbian monks out and imprisoned bishop John. That way they usurped almost every single monastery in Macedonia. And we all know that those monasteries were built by SERBIAN RULERS and they belong to SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH!

The Serbian Patriarchate was restored in 1557 by the sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, much thanks to the famous Mehmed-paša Sokolović, when Macarios, his brother or cousin, was elected Patriarch in Peć. Ohrid Archbishopric exist 1767 when it was abolished by the Sultan's decree, at the urging of the Greek church in Istanbul, and was placed under the jurisdiction of the patriarch of Constantinople.

So if Sebs and Greeks were faithful subjects of their turkish lords, that doesn't give you the right to claim that everything in Macedonia is yours or greek.

My only hope is that in upcoming years will be less nationsalism and nationalist like you in Serbia and Greece.

Saint Jovan Bigorski Monastery was built in 1020 by Ivan I Debranin (Debranin means from Debar) the first Archbishop of Ohrid. One of the most valuable treasures of the monastery is the iconostasis created by Petre Filipovski Garkata from the nearby village of Gari. This iconostasis is considered one of the most beautiful and most valuable wood-carved iconostasis in the Orthodox religion.

I can't see any Serbs here.

Macedonian monasteries are older then the serbian church. Who paid you to write this? And btw Jovan (bishop John) was a member of Macedonian Orthodox Church and after he took money from the Serbs he became their instrument in denying our church and nation, and he is still free.

Koj mitropolit Jovan bre, toa e samo Srpska propaganda za Srpska interna upotreba.

So Jovan (Zoran Vraniskovski) zaedno se tepavme i sojki ebavavme ko deca, Toj prodolzi da "dupi" zenski i ot koga se napravi crkveno lice. Ukrade mnogu pari od narodot i crkvata i za da se spasi od kazna morasse da se napravi predavnik na narodot svoj. Toa e kratkata prikazna za tvojot mitropolit Jovan. Sto vie vo Srbija znaete za nego? Toa sto ke vi go servira vasata crkva i politika.
