I like this scene because the champeign in the face was completely unplanned and you could see the shocked expression on Daniel's face. It was epic. He did not know that was going to happen cause they never did it during rehersal then just before the scene started the director pulled the old man to the side and told him what to do. EPIC I TELL YA EPIC HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I gotta admire the old gentleman who really was in a camp during the war. As well as how his character talked about it during the show. Makes us think, doesn't it?
-
Phooey on you Daniel, you horny worthless overloaded testosterone conceited turning against your family piece of scum! This creep's behavior only gets worse and worse between this& the next miniseries. But then...
-
Drinking in the morning? Daniel, you're a disgusting alcoholic. Get your ass to a meeting.

Oh man did I hate that kid. Both he and Robin were the most selflsh idiots in the miniseries. The grandfather ruled though.
-
Daniel is an freaking douche! I laughed when the old man splashed that drink
For the first time I actually felt sorry for Robin
-
That kid is crazy and power hungry
Some kids just turn out bad.

Science fiction often has a cunning knack of representing reality, only those with foresight and vision can see things for what they really are, while the masses are largely ignorant to the facts because of their point of perception. This series although a fantasy portays perfectly the reality of how the ruling elite bring about changes in society that furthers their control over the people. Terrorism is a perfect excuse for more totalitarian control as it encourages people to spy on each other.
