Ah, I love Amnesiac...one of my favorite albums. I find it dark, and a little taunting; "Are you hungry? Are you sick?"--I can just picture someone gazing at you with a cruel, twisted smile as you are, as it says in the song, "Strung up by the wrists."

I don't want to inflame this argument by seeming patronising or anything but surely music as ingenious as that of Radiohead can be interpreted in many ways; you can see it from the view that the song is very dark, and therefore you should feel 'depressed' or you can think of it as a great piece of music and feel happy.

Although I do have to agree that "Ironic Harmonies" does sound a little pretentious...

If the subject matter of this song makes you feel sad, then by all means, cry me a river, but I'll weep over bullet proof, How to disappear or Street Spirit while reserving this delicious little cocktail of beautifully ironic harmonies for when a wicked little smirk is all I need to push myself into a state of pure bliss. I'd try to explain but "it's its obviously flown over your head."
